Our Services
Individual Peer Supports
We offer individual peer supports, who are volunteer peer supports trained by Connect, offering emotional support for those looking for support from someone with a shared experience. This is not for someone looking for support for their own mental health issues.
Examples of Individual Peer supports include parents of children, teens or adult children with mental health issues or physical disabilities, caregivers for parents or a spouse, a spouse of someone with a mental health issue, and a divorced or single parent.
Peer Support Groups
We offer peer support groups, which is a group formed and led by individuals experiencing similar challenges, to provide the opportunity for its members to connect, share and support one another through a similar experience. Connect povides this opportunity but is not responsible for the peer support groups created and led by peer members.
Workshops
We offer community workshops, which is an engaging talk and discussion given by a professional about a topic to offer education, connect, and share ideas. It can be offered online or in-person and is often a way for people to access and share information, resources and ideas about a topic. It can either be a one-time workshop or a series of sessions.
